How can I use the Air India Ancillary Gift Card?
To use the Air India Ancillary Gift Card:
Select the flights you are interested in on the Air India website or Air India mobile app. Select the desired Ancillary product out of Seat, Baggage, Zip Ahead, and/or Sports Equipment. (Please note that the booking denomination must be in INR and from Point of Sale India. This gift card can only be redeemed in INR and from Point of Sale India.)
Enter the Ancillary Gift Card number and pin that you will receive in your email after completing the purchase of a Gift Card.
The Ancillary gift card value would be applied on the amount of the ancillary product only. The remaining flight booking amount can be paid using any credit card accepted by Air India.
If your Ancillary Gift Card amount is lower than the booking amount, you can make up the difference by paying the additional amount using any credit card accepted by Air India.
How do I Use Air India Wallet to redeem Air India Ancillary Gift Card?
Activate your Air India Wallet by Logging-in here - https://giftcards.airindia.com/en-in/wallet/login
You will receive Air India Wallet activation email with your Wallet ID and PIN. Request to save the same. You can also check your Wallet ID under “Profile” on the Wallet dashboard.
Log-in to you wallet now using your email and add your ancillary gift card in the wallet by clicking on “Add card” and entering “Card Number” and “PIN”. The gift card would be added in the wallet balance.
While booking your ticket for flights, add the ancillary that you want to purchase (Seat, Baggage, ZIP Ahead, Sports Equipment), and at the payment page, click on “Use Air India Wallet/Gift Cards/Vouchers”
Under the drop-down, select “Air India Wallet”. Enter your Wallet ID and PIN (as you received in your Wallet activation email).
Your valid wallet balance would be displayed. Enter the Amount to be used by entering the value in “Amount” tab or choose the Amount by moving the slider. Then click on “Apply”. The Wallet balance from Ancillary gift card would be applied on the ancillary part of the booking amount, and complete the check-out process by paying the rest of the amount by Credit Card.
